Eagles Nest Youth Ranch, founded in 2007, is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. Eagle’s Nest Youth Ranch provides a therapeutic group living environment for 116 of Saskatchewan’s vulnerable youth who are experiencing social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. The program provides 24-hour care, supervision, counseling, and education. A holistic and developmental approach is used to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of the residents
Eagle’s Nest serves youth ages 10 to 21 years of age. Youth are placed into specific programs according to their ages and needs.
Youth require a safe environment where they receive nurturing, respect, and guidance from caring adults
A sense of belonging to family and community is an important component of helping youth develop a healthy self-concept
Each youth is an individual with unique needs and strengths that need to be respected and supported
Each youth’s cultural and spiritual needs will be addressed and facilitated. The right of each family and youth to choose their own path will be respected
It is important for youth voices to be heard and for youth rights to be protected and respected
Effective intervention with youth requires working together cooperatively with youth, families, and other concerned community groups
All youth deserve the opportunities and help they require to meet their unique potential… and soar!
